Pozzi-tive is a highly reactive metakaolin which is made of high quality kaolin. The best conditions for obtaining a highly reactive metakaolin have been discovered by Yillong Chemical’s scientists who reported values between 600-800⁰C
Pozzi-tive grades can react with calcium hydroxide which is the outgrowth of Portland cement in the course of hydrating and produce a new colloidal material so as to enhance the performance of concrete and mortar.
Water react with Portland cement and produce hydration calcium silicate, meantime it produces calcium hydroxide lime whose amount can take up 20-25% of cement weight after hydrating. The lime is very harmful to the structure of cement and concrete. But, if Pozzi-tive is mixed into concrete and mortar, it can react with dissociative lime and create new colloidal material. By this way, a series of problems such as efflorescence, penetration which is caused by lime can be eliminated. Pozzi-tive can react with lime whose weight is 1.6.
These products have high puzzolanic reactivity which increase the strength and durability of cement and concrete. Pozzi-tive series can be used in construction projects with complacency, e.g. bridge, dock, dam, mansion, highway, etc. times max.

A: “Pozzi-tive added, high and early age strength required concrete application” Replace 10% cement with Pozzi-tive. Water/cement ratio is accepted generally 0.5-0.55. If water/cement ratio is lower, the activity index will be higher.
B: According to Chapelle test.
